HAAT Luncheon and Mortgage Burning Ceremony

Five short years ago a group of passionionate Girl Scout volunteers banded together to form the Humboldt Area Action Team (HAAT). These women (Byrd Lochtie, Sally Biggin, Cheryl Baer, Ina Harris and Marge Custis) worked tirelessy to raise tens of thousands of dollars and bring their dream of having a local Girl Scout Program Center to a reality.
The mortgage on the Barbara Phelps Program Center is being paid off early and the final payment has been made. We hope that you can join us for a celebration of this momentous occasion, these incredible women and the girls who will continue to benefit from their gift.
100% of proceeds and donations raised at this event will support outreach in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.

Forever Green Celebrations
Our 100th Anniversary Celebrations will raise funds for outreach programs and will recognize 100 women who are “greening the future” of Northern California, through their contributions to health, education, the arts, economic development and the environment.
