Girl Scouts are literally taking over the Alameda County Fairgrounds on May 5, 2012! Everyone is invited as we put on the largest Girl Scout festival you have ever seen! There will be exciting activities such as rock climbing, obstacle courses, arts and
crafts, interactive history, bridging for all ages, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award Ceremonies, a gigantic Girl Scout store with specialized 100th Anniversary merchandise, camping, swaps, exciting performances including Melinda Caroll, fireworks, and so much more!

Savannah 2012
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting in Savannah, Georgia, where it all began, March 8-11, 2012! Our trip will find us at the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low! In addition to touring and participating at the Girl Scout venues in Savannah, we will take a walking tour of the Historic District River Front, Participate in the Militia Program at Old Fort Jackson, see a reenactment of a Civil War military drill, learn how to fire a cannon, visit Tybee Island, take a Dolphin Cruise, and visit the Laurel Grove Cemetery. There is free time to explore, and you might choose to take a carriage tour of Historic Savannah. Click here for more information.
